Introduction

There are many challenges that we face in our life on a daily basis and Natural hazards are one of the most challenging due to the fact of multiple threats associated with it. There are different types of Natural hazards but I am going to focus mostly on the ones that are common in

my city which are flooding and Hurricanes specifically Hurricane Katrina. Hurricanes are strong storms that are categorized with the level of strength, the higher the number The worst is the outcome; they can be life-threatening and cause serious hazards such as flooding, storm surge, high winds, and tornadoes. They are the same type of storm except their name changes based on where they occur. The alternative will be simply by establishing a well maintained and running sewage system while renovating a new era of sophisticated levees that controls the flow of floodwaters.
We need also to evaluate this correction and study the aftermath of these facilities during flooding and implement or correct any issues that might arise.

Support the city’s infrastructure needs in times of crisis including rural power and water districts, city/county/state utilities, city/county road crews, county/state law enforcement, regional ambulance crews, regional hospitals, and regional emergency management offices.

 

Established with private utility or infrastructure stakeholders in the region with the capacity to support the city’s needs to include: private sector electrical and water, network/cyber experts, construction companies, transportation entities, food and beverage suppliers, insurance companies, and specialty services not on the city payroll such as medical transport.
