What is intersectionality and why is intersectionality so important when thinking about LGBTQ issues? (300 words)

You received information through articles, and videos about the role of identity (e.g. a person’s race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability status, religion, immigration status, country of origin, age, etc) and it’s relation to power, privilege, and oppression. Name and describe ONE example that you saw/read that impacted you. After your description, explain WHY this stood out to you so much.
