We are all products to the time, place and cultures we live in which will unavoidably impact the way we view the past. Once of the best ways therefore to handle bias when studying history is to make sure we are as aware as possible of our own perspectives.

Therefore, I would like you to identify some of your own biases. What do you think are some of the most important social, cultural or personal perspectives you hold that impact how you see the world? How do you think these perspectives will impact your view of past people and events?

For each item I would like you to list the various Ingredients and how they combined to make the new food.

Eastern Hemisphere: Wheat, Sugar, Spices + Western Hemisphere: Pumpkin = Pumpkin Pie

#7: Imagine a plague such as the Columbian exchange diseases (Killing 90% of population) were to break out today. What would be the impact on our modern culture and society?
