INTRODUCTION
In order to complete this task, you will access the link in the course of study to watch 10 videos from the ATLAS: Video Observation Program. It is your choice as to which 10 videos you choose to focus on for this task, as they relate to standards, academic language, and classroom discourse. After viewing each of the chosen 10 videos, complete the attached “ABP1 Video Observation Form.” Respond to the prompts below by writing a narrative.

B. Reflect on the videos in the area of standards, academic language, and classroom discourse by doing the following. Be sure to use a different video for each set of requirements in part B (i.e., parts B1, B2, B3, and B4 must all address a different video).

a. Describe how you would establish norms of discourse to develop a safe environment, establish boundaries, and move the discussion forward.

4. Evaluate how well the activities in a fourth identified video align to the standards or objectives of the lesson.

a. Describe one different activity you would use in your teaching practice to reinforce the standards or objectives observed in the video for part B4.

Note: The video for part B4 should be selected based on the availability of standards or objectives, which may be found in the commentary section of a video in ATLAS.

D. Acknowledge sources, using APA-formatted in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.

E. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
