Assignment:
Please use this writing assignment to observe and understand the consequences of gender stereotyping and how it pertains to everyone. Provide examples of harmful gender stereotypes. Do you believe these stereotypes to be accurate? Why or why not? Discuss how society generally perceives those who are nonconforming. Furthermore, what role does intersectionality play in gender stereotypes?
Be specific in your answer and be sure to cite materials from the course or other academic sources. This exercise is designed for you to think critically and integrate class information with your own worldview.
